| The United Kingdom（U.K.）is the only country in the world that establishes chief scientific adviser system in all government departments, which provides a scientific support for decision-making of all departments. The paper investigates and reviews the foundation and organizations of the chief scientific adviser system and its role in the U.K, and finally gives some recommendations for the building of China’s science and technology decision-making consulting system. |
