| In the view of EU, energy technology is the key element for achieving its emission reduction targets and its prosperity and competitiveness in a carbon constraint century. EU dedicates to lead the world in low carbon energy technology. The paper studies the EU strategies for energy R&D , the R&D programmes relevant to energy technology innovation and their implementation and analyzes the characteristic and deficiency of EU energy programmes. |
