| The industrial added value of manufacturing accounts for approximately 16% of the total GDP in Sweden. It is an extremely important basis for employment and economic growth. Sweden has a highly competitive and international manufacturing industry due to its constant adoption of new technologies and innovation. This paper briefly introduces and analyzes the Swedish practices for research and innovation-driven development of manufacturing industry which will make Sweden become one of the world’s foremost countries for sustainable production in 2030 in the context of economic globalization. |
