| 《日本科学技术指标》是反映日本科技活动情况，并进行国际比较的系列报告。在国际同类报
告中，我国对《日本科学技术指标》报告的关注和讨论相对较少。本文通过介绍《日本科学技术指标》的发展历程、指标体系结构和特点，从内容结构、分析维度、指标统计口径等方面比较了日本科学技术指标与中国科学技术指标的异同，并提出改进我国科学技术指标的建议。 |

| Japanese Science & Technology Indicators（S&T indicators）is a basic resource for systematically understanding Japan’s Science & technology activities based on objective and quantitative data. Given that the concern and discussion on this Japanese S&T indicators are not as much as on other similar international reports, this paper introduces the background, index system and features of the Japanese S&T indicators, and compared with Chinese Science & Technology Indicators in the aspects of contents, statistical methods and dimensions, etc. It gives some suggestions about improving the report of Chinese science, technology and engineering indicators. |
