      科学、技术、工程和数学(Science,Technology,Engineering,and Mathematics,STEM)教 育战略是美国当前实施的核心战略之一,在推动教育科技人才紧密结合方面发挥重要作用。研究了美 国 STEM 教育的发展历程,并通过对比 2013—2024 年发布的三版 STEM 教育战略规划,归纳了美国 STEM 教育改革的根本目标。梳理了美国 STEM 教育改革行动路线要点及其变化与更新、各联邦政府 部门协同推进 STEM 教育改革的机制,客观评价美国 STEM 教育战略实施的成效,为中国在新时期培 养科技人才、推进科技创新发展提供借鉴。
英文摘要:
      The STEM education strategy is one of the core strategies currently implemented in the United States, playing a significant role in promoting the close integration of education, technology, and talent. This paper examines the development of STEM education in the United States until its elevation to a national strategy. By comparing the three editions of the five-year strategic plans for STEM education released by the United States from 2013 to 2024, it investigates the fundamental objectives of U.S. STEM education reform, the significance of STEM education in cultivating innovative talent and maintaining global technological leadership for the United States, and analyzes the action routes of U.S. STEM education reform, the evolving changes in response to the times, as well as the mechanisms through which various federal departments collaboratively advance STEM education reform. It also objectively evaluates the effectiveness of the implementation of the U.S. STEM education strategy, providing insights for China in cultivating scientific and technological talent and promoting technological innovation and development in the new era.
