| This article presents the current status and prospects of the development of E-Government in Germany and introduces actions, projects and measures for the German federal government's E-Government 2.0 programs. The successful completion of the BundOnline 2005 has helped provide new channels of access to administrative services, speed up processing and increase transparency, allowing the state to offer services for individuals and businesses in a more efficient and client-oriented way. The federal E-Government strategy is oriented on the following points: ensuring and improving quality，promoting synergies and using standards，taking advantage of potential for innovation and optimizing information management. |
