机械化、信息化、智能化为标志的世界现代交通运输发展历史的一个缩影。美国将电子、通信、计算机和信
息技术等高科技手段运用到交通运输管理中，大力发展智能交通。其交通行政管理体制实行综合管理，相
关管理机构各司其责；中央和地方的分级管理；政企分开，行使行业管理职能等做法，值得借鉴。 |

| The United States transportation is made up of aviation, rail, sea, road and pipeline transport.
Its development has experienced a course of mechanization, and of promotion of information and intelligent
technology, which is the symbol of modern transportation. The United States pays more attentions to apply
the electron, communication, computer and information technology and other high-tech means in transport
management, to facilitate development of the intelligent traffic. Its traffic management system is characterized by:
to implement the integrated management; each administration works on each one’ own duty; to implement central
and local classified management; to separate government functions from enterprise management, and so on. The
United States traffic, being efficient, safe, and convenient, leads the development of world transportation in terms
of linkage of traffic transfer, which is worthy of our learning. |
