| The report of Science and Engineering Indicators in 2012 was issued by the U.S. National Science
Board in January, 2012. This report analyzed quantitatively the development situationof science, technologies,
engineering, education and economies in the United States in last decade. As the first part of the trilogy of the
overview, this article concerns itself with the trends and influences of the R&D investments in some typical
countries including U.S., EU, China, Japan as well as in multinational corporations. |
