| Integrating data from questionnaires, interviews, and experts’ analysis and evaluation, the recently published South Korean government report, The Technology Evaluation Report of 2012, compares and evaluates its technical level and technical gap regarding its 120 specific techniques in strategy domains with China, America,
Europe and Japan. With concrete data, the report reveals the cutting-edge advantages, general level and overall competitiveness in science and technology of these countries. It provides significant data support for the South Korean government to make long-term development plans and to implement technology policies. It is worthwhile for us to draw lessons from South Korea to conduct evaluative study before making technology policies. |
