| Data sharing has long been a national strategy in the US, and an integral component of research management as well as a powerful tool to drive innovation by the Federal government. Over the years, the US has put in place a sound mechanism for data sharing consisting of legislation, policy and regulation. The federal government practices data sharing through the lifespan of project management and keeps it up to date to maximize the efficiency of federal funding. |
