| New material is the foundation of new technology revolution, major developed countries attach great importance to the development and application of new material.The United States has intensified efforts to promote digitalization and intelligentization of materials science and engineering through the materials genome project.This paper introduces the material genome strategy of the United States, summarizes its characteristics and the latest progress, and puts forward some suggestions for China to promote the new material strategy. |
