| 2020年，新冠肺炎疫情肆虐全球，但世界各国依然重视科技发展。美国为了维持科技领域的优势地位，持续加大对人工智能的研发投入，在多方面取得重要进展,其人工智能研发投入与科研产出持续保持较高水平，自然语言处理、脑机接口、智能自主系统等领域关键技术取得重要突破，人工智能在智慧交通、智慧农业、智慧医疗等方面应用落地持续加速。本文总结美国2020年度人工智能领域的发展态势和重大突破，并提出我国应在理论上尽快补齐短板，技术上实现自主可控，加快建设科技强国。 |

| In 2020, the COVID-19 epidemic swept the world, which brought great impact to the world’s economic and social development. However, countries all over the world still attach great importance to the development of science and technology, and the field of artificial intelligence presents a trend of accelerating breakthrough. In order to maintain the dominant position in the field of science and technology, the developed countries led by the United States continue to increase the R&D investment in artificial intelligence, and have made important progress in many aspects. This paper summarizes the important breakthroughs in the field of artificial intelligence in the United States in 2020 from three aspects: investment and output, vital technologies, and industrial application, and puts forward the future development trend of artificial intelligence technology and the strategic orientation of artificial intelligence in China. |
